USB Memory stick
Can anyone help me with setting up a memory stick to use on my ps2?
It's unmodded, has a 300gb hd, and i'm using the mc exploit, with hdl 0.7c.
I have a Plextor 128mb memory stick.
Is it possible to use this to either save games to, or transfer saves to so i can free up space on my ps2 mem card? Are there any other things that it can be used for?
I've tried to find a guide on setting this up but it's a little confusing, so if there's a noobs guide to it or someone is prepared to help out a bit then many thanks for taking the time to help.

Thanks for the info, I managed to get it to work, sort of...
I can view the card when connected to the ps2 via ftp, and write to it no problem.
But, when i access it through ulaunchelf sometimes it just shows as being empty and others it locks and won't access mass until i unplug the memory stick and reattach it. Then 'sometimes' i can see the contents and move them to the mc or hd.
Is this normal? or am i doing something wrong?
For information its a PLEXTOR 128mb drive.

The PS2SDK USB drivers available are still not compatible with all existing USB devices, and probably never will be, but more drives are supported by the later versions of uLaunchELF than by the oldest ones. Unfortunately some users report that support for a few drives has been lost by those changes. That is regrettable, but there's not much we can do about it, as we are not the main developers of those drivers. Hopefully the improvements will continue, so as to include support for most devices available.
You should also be aware that NO device is supported by these drivers, if the filesystem format is anything other than FAT16 (often called simply "FAT") or FAT32. NTFS or other OS-specific formats are not supported. The recommended format to use is always FAT32, since some PS2 software supports ONLY that filesystem (eg: USBAdvance/USBExtreme).
If you have a USB device formatted to NTFS, then backup its contents to a PC HDD, and reformat the USB device to FAT32 before using it with the PS2.

Are you using the USB stick to launch the launchelf application? When I launch launchelf from the memory stick, it doesn't recognise the memory stick, but when I launch it from a cd (with a usb stick plugged in), it works perfectly.
No idea why but I hope its of some sort of help to you.
