trying to help out a friend

im trying to set up a memory card for one of my friends, i have v12 with CC2.0 and i cant figure out how to put new programs on a FW cd so that i can install it to my mc or to install it to my friends mc so that he can boot it on his unmodded ps2

Just put all the files you want in the BxDATA-SYSTEM folder on a DATA Cd or on a USB Pendrive and use uLaunchelf to copy from CD/USB to MC. Make sure you create a TITLE.DB files with your friends PS1 game to use as a trigger disc.

Note that this method will only work if that friend has an old 'fat' PS2, as the exploit doesn't work on the new 'slim' PStwo models (V12 and newer).
