I use disc dump to make cd images. It works well for protected cds as well as in general. Here is the link for the program. disc dump
Try this out if you can't get anything else to work. Otherwise you probably got scratches or something but maybe not.

By the way, both comps do the same IO error when ripping so its
not my comp.

you sure your aspi layers are up to date? I believe that is your problem. Also, is your disc scratched or dusty? Can you just copy all of the files in windows explorer and paste them in a folder and then make an iso out of the folder? (doesn't matter what type).

I tried but no luck, IO error in everything including windows. Looks like some special copy protection, but I've never seen this before since it looks to be some special type of bad cluster....
Any help will help solve this...
