Running ELFs, from memory Card

can any1 help me im trying to make my own elf files but dont no where to start.

nice program.
be warned that there were un issue with coping /pasting of and back the memcard savefiles. (timestamp) chech dokumntation or try it before deleting all your saves on mc.

Cheers for the tip - I will bear this in mind when doing anything with game saves.

Although I was able to back up the entire memory card, copying folders back to it caused the FTP link to disconnect and the only way round this was to create the folder on mc0 and transfer the files after.

This may be something to do with FTP Commander or perhaps things are done differently on the memory card file system.

Hi, guys , I have a ps2 v9, dms3 chip( dev1), maxtor hdd 80 gigs,hdloader fully patched v.07.
How do i make a launchelf boot cd to put on my memory card.(can i have a tutorial, step by step). I have a problem whit my laser , can i use a usb pen drive to put the launchelf on the memory card or do i need to change the laser.

I will appreciate if you put lot of detail.

Hi, can I have that turorial? The linbk you have provided is dead. I have been trying to install apps to my memory card all afternoon and nothing has worked. I tried putting the elf file straight onto the memory card in 'mc0:\boot\boot.elf' (exactly like that, all lower case) and it wont work. i cant figure out how to actually install any applicationsto memory card, although I installed ulaunch to the hdd with the matrix dev1 tool or whatever it is. I have also had a lot of failed burns because no-one actually explains how to burn anything (but I finally figured it out... I think). So if you still have it, that tutorial would be great! thanks

There is a lot of info in these two tutorials.

Use CDGENPS2 to create a disc image and burn with Nero or whatever your favourite program is.

Making System.cnf fixed at LBA 12231 seems to make a big difference to not ending up with a pile of coasters... I don't know why though!
