i use execftps over a network to backup my PS2 memory card. can anything similar be done for PSX cards?

i also have a usb thumb drive, which i've read in the fourm as a possible idea but didn't really follow or find a certain working solution posted. maybe connecting to my pc with a usb 2 usb cable?

not interested in buying a dexdrive (yet), as suggested in the fourm.

    Hello,
you can copy the psx saves to a ps2 memory card and then use execftps, i know it works from the ps2 to the pc, didn't try the other way to see if the saves are corrupted or not though

kreg read your mail please, if you have some time, thanks.

uLaunchELF can copy saves directly from PS1 memory cards to USB 'thumb drives', so that should be the ideal solution for you. It can also copy both PS1 and PS2 saves to HDD and/or networked PC, so it should solve most backup needs.

You'll always find the latest uLaunchELF release (currently v3.51) in the main thread of its own forum:
    "http://psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37242 (unofficial LaunchELF v4.42)"

    Best regards: dlanor
