pen drive

Ok i have seen this datel pen drive that works as an action replay but i was wondering if it was posible to buy a regular pen drive and then give it some kind of special format like the hds so that my ps2 will recognize it,if thats posible wich pen drives are compatible or every pen drive is compatible? also how can i give this drives the special format in the case that it is posible,thanks in advance

Many pen drives work with programs like ulaunchelf using the FAT filesystem.

so i will be able to save my games into the pendrive like if it were a mc? and i will give format to it using launchelf or something? btw i already have the independance exploit.

ok i have a pendrive but my ps2 wont recognize it,can someone tell me the steps i need to do so that it will recognize it and start saving my games in it?

u cant save directly to usb but u can transfer files from mc to usb and vice versa but u need at least : codebreaker/ar max cd (if u have a modchip u can use a copy) or launchelf (elf launcher for the memorycard exploit)

how do u use elf launcher?

use the latest LaunchElf and go to file browser.

go to the memory card folder... press L1 if u want to view game save names. hilight the game or use square to hilight a few then press r1 to bring up menu... choose copy...

browse to the MASS device and press R1 and choose paste...

I tried what you said but it didnt work,when launchelf starts it says select:config,then i press o and it brings me to the buttons configuration menu,then i press a button and it brings me to mc0 and mc1 etc then i enter mc0 and press L1 but nothing happens i pressed square and it just redirects me to the previous folder and ri wont bring any menu

btw my version is 3.4
