just wanted to know if i need the official disc like hd advance to format the drive then use hd advance elf off memory card to copy games and cd and dvd thanks

Think about that for a minute. well, think about it this way. Is using software on a memory stick the same as using software on a harddrive?

I have noticed on my ps2 that in order to dump games I need to use the CD. To load the games I can use the memory card exploit. However, if I use HD Loader from memory card I am unable to install games. I get an error saying to insert PS2 formatted disk. I just thought it was my system since I had a modchip installed.

Original games YES

burned games - No...but put your HD in your PC and transfer isos with HDdump
