Memory Card to USB

Is there any was I can make a converter that will change a mem card to USB, so I can plug the card straight to my computer? I've seen a couple places that sell these, but they're f*cking expensive (for just a simple converter).

i didn't understand (italian) but it seems working...
if someone could make an iso file (or nrg, ccd or any...) to burn directly, than thanks a lot...

I know I can use a pen drive as a mem card, but I have a new slim version. Doesn't let me use USB anything.

Launchelf doesn't recognize my pendrives 128 and mp3 256
freeze after selecting usbmass (more than 10 min of waiting)
will try the ps2link-InLink solution...

the italian doc says that we can use usb pen directly as a MC! no need to transfert anything!

What version of uLaunchELF were you using? The lastest version is v3.53, which may fix that problem.

I just tested connecting both my MP3 player and Digital Camera. The MP3 player worked fine (could see the internal memory), but I couldn't see the extra 1GB Memory Card I had connected, because of how the mp3 player is programmed to access external memory.

My 1GB Memory Card did however work perfectly when I connected it to my Digital Camera, but I couldn't see any of the JPG files my Digital Camera's internal memory (probably because it was in a differnet format).

I think the reason why my MP3 player and 1GB SD memory work, is because they are both formatted as FAT32. So you can try checking the format of your 128 Pendrive and 256 MP3 also.

yeah try formatting both the drives to FAT32, i was havin the similar prob some time ago but the fixed my prob... also you could just try naplink to transfer files from PC to PS2 and then transfer files using memcard manager.. i think that'll work too...
