I need to know how to change the icons from corrupted data to HDLoader Icons on my Memory card after a DMS3 HDL Dev1 mode install. Can someone tell me how to change the icons. Sorry if this was asked before.

you need 2 files in the directory you want shown in the browser with an icon:
icon.sys - the info about the icon
    whatevername.icn (also.ico) - the icon graphics

Hmmm... perhaps this is over my head. Is it possible for me to just put them on the same CDR as the HDL that Im installing dev mode 1 so that way once it is installed onto the memory card it simply shows up as HDL files and not corrupted data? I been trying to fix this last issue with no luck. Is there a simple way to do this at all? What you posted doesnt really make much sence to me.

Basically it sounds like Im supposed to hack the memory card and then inject 2 files into it somewhere? I read somewhere about FTPs and stuff, is all of that really needed for something so small? Why would DMS team make it say corrupt files anyways. Is it a glitch in the DMS chips?

BTW I have the two files I need for this, I found them on another thread. What is the easiest way to get them on the memory card? I would like for them to be on there just installing the HDL on dev mode 1. Please help.

Yes, you can add them with the hdl.elf when you install it. If you have ulaunchelf & a usb thumbdrive, you can easily copy from usb to mc.
    Should look like this example:
    mc0:/
    BOOT/
    hdl.elf
    BOOT.ELF
    hdl.ico ( or hdl.icn)
    icon.sys
    whatever.file

This is just an example, dont take those as the real files.
Im assuming you use a directory called BOOT on your MC to boot from with dev1.

Also if you put the hdl.elf on the MC's root, not in a folder, then its going to show as corrupt data, nothing you can do about that, except dont put anything directly on the MC, always use a directory.
