Memory Card Exploit Help

We have been trying to get the memory card exploit to load our patched HDLoader. We patched it correctly and tested the elf and it works. We tried a couple different title.db's, and we cant seem to get it to work. It still loads up the PS1 game. We have the two files in the system directory on the memory card. It doesnt work for us. We have no clue what is wrong, and were completely stuck now. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

you posted this in the incorrect forum, it should be in the memory card hacking forum, not the hdd forum.

what version # ps2 do you have? there should be a sticker either on the back or side of the ps2 that says SCPH-#####

your ps2 may be too "new" to use the MC exploit on.

Oops.. Sorry... We never thought of putting this in the memory card forum... But we found what the problem was... We downloaded a boot.elf from somewhere and then renamed the hdloader boot.elf to boot2.elf and it works like a charm.. Thanks for the move to the memory card forum so we know where to look in case something happens again.
