MaxDrive doesnt seem to be working

ok im playing GT4 and i bought max drive from fries and a new 8mb SONY memory card. i downloaded at least 3 game saves for GT4 and i put them on the memory card throught the manager, then turn on the game. well the game does not seem to be seing the saved games, but there on the card.

is there a certain way to turn the game save on? or shouldnt it autoload? pls help its pissing me off. mainly cause i was 30 percent in and my old card just corrupted all my saved files.

try formatting the card then uncrushing the saves

Just a thought...
Have you double-checked that the saves you downloaded are in fact for the precise version of the game that you're using. I mean that the game ID codes of the saves must be fully identical with the ID code of the game (SLES... / SLUS... / whatever). Otherwise the game will simply ignore those saves, considering them to belong to another game.

I dont know how to tell what version it is, but i reformated the pen, and i dont know how to reformat the memory card. Yes i uncrushed them onto the memory card, and it still doesnt see it. I get my game saves from GameFaqs.com and i tried all of them, none of them work. and i dont have anyother games to try it out on.

You need MC format for the MC's(duh). Its an elf.

you said you bought a "NEW" memory card right? you need to format it. Click on the memory card then at the bottom of the screen ( side scrolling text) it tells you which button will format the card. Then after that you can "uncrush" the saves to the memory card.

Also these are stupid questions.....

1. are you downloading NTSC saves (you mentioned Fry's so I am assuming you live in the states.
2. You are downloading .max saves right? not .xps
3. Is your max usb stick set on "unlocked" position......(its on the side of the stick)

try that.
