there was a way for build your own psx memcard, but i think that in ps2 is still impossible.
well there are commercial adapters out there, wondering if anyone knows what makes them tick...
yeah I made one for xbox with a USB cord, you can use the driver from "some company" and it will get noticed in your PC!
im sure the ps2 would be much harder tho
The main problem is that the PS2 cards are wrapped up in MagicGate junk. This was probably done to protect the DVD player software in the beginning, now it just provides Sony with a nice means of locking cheap Chinese manufacturers out of the market. The commercial adapters work by plugging into the PS2 and PC at the same time; they let the PS2 unlock the card so that it can be read/written. If you can't do that for some reason (e.g. PS2 and PC in different rooms) EMS has a clever little add-on for their adapter that they call a "Recharge Station", which lets you grab the keys from the PS2 and carry it into another room to hook up to the adapter.
Why not use nport to transfer saves, saves all the hassle
