Installing elf files after exploit working

I've managed to create the exploit with a ps1 game that boots up to ps2menu from the memory card. I want to install another elf file to the memory card, and ive read that cdgenps2 can create disks that are readable in ps2menu, how can i create a disk that i can add elf files to so i can just copy them over to the memory card.

get cdgenps2 v3, make your ISO, then, use it to "Patch UMCDR disk", burn that image in nero. Open ps2menu2.6, press eject, insert your disk (no swap or modchip needed). No press R1, go to cd0:, and there is your file. copy it to wherever you want.

however, note that it MUST be ps2menu 2.6, otherwise umcdr won't work (as far as I know). you can find the old version at ps2dev.org

how do i "Patch UMCDR disk", i can't see any option to do so in cdgenps2 v3. im sure im suing ps2menu 2.6, when i select the cd0 with the r1 button when the original ps1 disk in in the drive it loads up that drive and i can see the contents of the disk. it doesnt read the disk when i change it to the one i created. help please.

ok, make an ISO (make sure its is0, not bin/cue) with cdgen ps2, then patch it with the officila UMCDR program below, then burn with nero. that should work.
