    tuzgi Guest
Hello! im trying to use inlink and pukklink to transfer some save files via ethernet, but i got one problem. How can i find the ip address of ps2 beucase thats obtained from my isp via dhcp? Pc and ps2 is connected to hub and the hub is connected to my adsl-box. I was wondering maybe i should unplug that adsl-box so it will not receive ip from my isp but still i dont know what it is its something like 192.168.0.*
So can anyone help me with this problem?

    Just did this myself.

The PC and PS2 will communicate directly. Don't worry about any ip's given by your isp. Just make sure that your PC has it's ip set to 192.169.0.1, with the subnet being 255.255.255.0. You can set this in Network Connections -- right click on your ethernet card, select properties. Go to tcp/ip and click properties. Enter the info.

*You may / may not be able to do this if your isp forces you to leave your setting at auto-obtain. If this is the case, just switch back and forth between the two settings when desired and you should be fine.
