08-23-2004,03:27 PM
i've been having trouble with ps2link/inlink. I found out all the ip adresses i need
ps2 - 192.168.1.103
subnet - 255.255.255.0
pc - 192.168.1.102
in my ipconfig for ps2link i put
192.168.1.103 255.255.0 192.168.1.102
when i click on an elf file to open inlink this is what i get
InLink v1.3.7 started.

I'd tell you that you should make sure you use a crossover cable, since it looks like you're directly connecting the two. Or if you're running it over a network, make sure that you are using the ROUTER's IP, not the PCs. But if you are able to connect, then the ip stuff isnt the problem. Try another elf I guess, one that doesnt need IRXs to run. I don't know if ps2menu does or not. Try the dms hddformat tool, I know that doesnt.

Try a different elf like nPort and see what happens. What version of PS2Link are you running (and how) on your PS2?
