Exploit problem

ok i burnt a disc using the tutorial at http://www.ps2exploit.tk.

i booted the disc with my ps2 modded with an old neo 2.2, the ps2 independence exploit screen appeared and copyied the files over including boot.elf and cdloader.elf.

It then said "installation complete" so i reset the ps2 and put in my trigger disc which was premier manager 98, the disk boots then i just get a black screen.

I thought it might have been the game so i took the memory card out and resarted the ps2 and the game boots fine.

i have tried this with wwf attitude aswell and got the same results.

Any ideas where im going wrong?

Maybe you put the SLUS code in wrong?

no ive done it about 4-5 times now, definatly put it the corect code into title.db

try a different disc, I use a opm demo disc. some games don't work iirc

It could be that your ELF file is corruptted....It install and the psx game triggered so that means that your exploit works...So it must be your Elf file that could cause you problems...YOUR cd-r media might be badly burn thus your ps2 can't extract the elf file correctly...that's my guess anyway...

i got same problem as you m8 , its not the disc i have wasted 5 memorex on the whole ordeal...lol

thanks for the suggestions guys.

im gonna replace boot.elf which is really ps2menu with cdloader, and try again.

i am trying to get this to work on a modded ps2, could this be why its not loading the exploit?

also am i right in thinking that if i get this to work i can trigger cd loader then swap for a backup just by ejecting the tray on a non modden ps2 or will i still need a way to get the backup in without ejecting the tray?
