no v11 = no proof
I am the only one I know who has commented on the V11 issue
with the memory card exploit. I haven't been able to get anyone
else to check on this and report.
I purchased a JPN V11 (model 50000, GH-029) about 3 months ago.
It has updated versions of the PS1 driver. It does not boot the mc exploit.
The same memory card when moved to either a US or JPN model 3000(0/1)
does boot the exploit. (the memcard has both bidata and badata directories).
As such, there is no proof the V11's won't work. Maybe the US V11's would
still work due to some driver differences, but the JPN do not ? My case is
but one sample, and I have not been able to get reports from other people
with the same driver versions to say one way or the other.
Gorim
same problem !!!
look here-> http://www.ps2newz.net/forums/showthread.php?t=25956
so, is this confirmed now then? do the v11s not work with the MC exploit?
if so, that makes the v11s near worthless in the realm of hard drive enabled PS2 systems.
unless you have a modchip
what i mean is, if i want to do the MC exploit, a v11 is no good, right?
emanon, boot your ps2 w/o a disc in it.. it will go to the browser/system configuration screen, press TRIANGLE and it will bring up the infro screen.
here is the info from a v10.
console: scph-5001 (sticker says = "scph-5001/n", network adaptor bundle)
browser: 1.40
cd player: 2.00
playstation driver: 1.11
dvd player: 3.00u
(v10, US/NTSC ps2 w/o any mods whatsoever)
please post your info too.
