Does anyone know if it is possible to use a USB flash stick for mem?

OK. I had this idea a while back. I bought a bunch of those Flashsticks.

Ya know.. those USB removable "mass" storage devices?

SONY

I noticed there were usb ports for a keyboard or mic, what ever, and though...

"I wonder if i can use a USB storage device as a memmory card, seeing how an 8mb mem card cost, what, $25? Thats nothing at a steap price. I payed $40 for a 256mb stick. Maybe it will work."

It didnt work, but is there a MOD or "crack" that can make it work?

Any ideas or sugestions?

Nope... can't do it. You can transfer saves... but you can't save to it directly. It'd be a nice feature though. If anyone did create something of the sort it would be to save to the hard drive... a 100 gb memcard... oh the possibilities...

i did happen to think maybe if you installed a os on the 100gb drive, maybe it could recognize the stick, but it doesnt make sense. You can just use the HD right?

You can use launchelf or keylauncher... amoung others to copy things from the memory card the hdd or pen drive. Do you have the memory card exploit?
