are you talking about the tiny boot.elf? because i *think* that is just fine.. if you're asking for the hdloader.elf, then no..

i've attached the boot.elf file.. make sure you name your hdloader elf "HDA.ELF"

what is a elf that auto boots an elf? you mean rename it to HDA.elf and you got hdadvance right.

oh with this you need to bunr the tiny boot.elf and HDA.elf on a cd then insert a ps1 cd to load and it will auto load the HDA?

nah man, u gettin it all confuseddddddd.... ifg u got the hdloader.elf , u need to use titleman to edit the title file with the disc ID of your PSX game... u have a modded ps2 , i told u what to do in the other post. hopefully u get it working.

read my other post m8 , i did that already , dont work , black screen , so i try this instead , and maybe it may do sumthing besides black screen. like your little note pad did it actully worked m8, so maybe sumthing else will , i wonder if it is just the ps1 boot disc`s i tried just dont work , i did FFXIII, cubix racer, and NHL 2000

I am using the tiny boot.elf and I have renamed my modded HDloader to HDA.elf and the boot.elf triggers the HDA.elf and hey presto it boots from MC with psx disk. so I have 2 files in my memory card boot.elf and HDA.elf.

CD-Katt, It sounds like you have just been trying to boot hdloader to elf from your memory card - That will genreally not work even if you named it boot.elf. (there have been posts about modfying a sub routine call in the exploit to get hdloader to direct boot from MC but I aint got a clue what that is about.

hey m8 ,i have been tring to bet anything working , i got mnu-k the BOOT , key launcher the BOOT , but non work so i am gonna try what you did , and erase all stuff , and just install only the tiny boot.elf and HDA.elf , and see what happens. cuz i am about to vrop the whole thing cuz my friend wahts his ps2 back , then i am gonna not care about it , cuz my ps2 dont read cd-r so i cant do nuthin , but 1 question corf ,

how do you install the tiny boot.elf and HDA.elf ? the same way as all the other hdloader.elfz`z , not a different way right . k gonna do it . thanx for the tip
