A cable exists that can allow such a hookup, but it is very hard to find, and software support for it is limited. Most modern homebrew software supports normal LAN hookups instead.

Copying data back and forth between MC and a USB device should work fine, with homebrew software, but using a USB device as an MC from commercial games is not possible. That would require serious game hacking, which is not what we do here.

v16 !!! I wasn't even aware Sony had released that model yet!

Then all bets are off as to what will or won't work, as the only reason Sony has had for any of the most recent model releases is to block more homebrew stuff from working. I have no idea what nasty ideas they may have invented for the latests attempt. (Which I assume a v16 must be.) You'll just have to try and see.

You do have a strong point in your favour, using an MI chip, as that is one of the best.

    Best regards: dlanor
