I've got a MC that won't format. I used the MCkiller and no way. What else is to do. The memory chip is a TOSHIBA not a SAMSUNG, they've been bought the same day in the same shop from the same shelf together. 90 days warranty gone.

are these official sony 8mb MC's?
you might try QA Tool.
He did mckiller is the same just renamed. If its official then buy a new one and pull the ol switheroo. Return the broken one for a refund in the new packaging. Maybe then Sony will realize that cost cutting is hurting the quality of their products.
