Can't transfer from pen drive to mc

Hi,
Im new to this scene and have recently purchased the ar max evo with the 16mb pen drive, ive been reading through the forums and from what it seems i can just copy a max file to the pen drive and via the software memory manager transfer it and uncrush it straight to the memory card, however this is my problem, i've downloaded a couple of .max exploits onto the pen drive but when i boot up the manager i cannot see these files in the list, what am i doing wrong? or have i just misread the whole thing? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

same problem im having and cant seem to find an answer.

ive tried a 256MB sandisk cruzer mini, a kingston 258MB and a 32MB and 256MB card in my digi cam. AR sees everyone but doesnt see files. is there a sepcial dir they need to be or? or a special label on the card? and when i try to copy my sys config from the mem card to any of the above it errors right away.

i've sorted it, just to let you know: once the max exploit file is on the drive, go into the settings file on the action replay max menu and select save settings, then when you next go into the memory manager menu it will show the exploit file.

still doesnt work, I just got home I tried saving the settings in the main AR screen and the memory manager screen, shows no files on either usb drive and people have said that the cruzer mini works. no reports on my other one.

edit: and when I slap an mp3 on it the AR media player plays the mp3 fine. And if im in the media player and i stop the mp3, unplug and plug the usb drive back in it says no media on pendrive. odd.

what pendrive are you using, it could be that, try and put an elf file on the pendrive, then load up the ar media player, you should be able to see and run the elf's directly from the pendrive, try that to make sure it reads your pen drive and let me know, also what .max file are you trying to use, reason i ask is because the first couple i got i couldnt get to work.

I have 2 pendrives, a sandisk 258MB cruzer mini, and a 256MB Kingston. memory manager sees them both but shows no files, but media player will play an mp3 from both. and I put cogswap loader on the pendrive and it starts in mediaplayer.
