Hi, I've ran up into a problem and I believe you guys can help me with it.

See I have PS2 Slim with a 8MB MagicGate memcard for PS2 games and a PolyStation© for PSX gamesaves (it acts and looks exactly as a normal psx mem card).

And my problem is that I want to transfer & store some PSX and PS2 saves on my PC and I know that by using flash usb I can transfer it to usb from mem card and copy to pc. I have also heard of things like GameShark, CodeBreaker and Action Replay MAX and AR MAX EVO which can help doin' that.

BUT I've also heard that in the process of data transfering saves may get corrupt and not working ect. SO which tool / method I should use to safely transfer my PSX and PS2 mem card gamesave data to PC and back? And also note that I absolutely do not want to hack gamesaves when they are on my PC. JUST for backup reasons.

    Thank You!

Use launchelf, your saves won't get corrupted and you can copy and paste the entire folders instead of using a third party cheating accessory to convert the saves to different formats(yuck!) This is how I backup my saves to store on my hard drive.

Also, get Ps2SaveBuilder0.8x .. it'll let you convert saves from sites like Gamefaqs so you can put them on your memorycard.
