Anyone can tell me how to install Ps2menu?

I already install Hdloader to my memory card. I can run them hdloader using ps one CD to boot up. But I cannot boot up Ps2menu how come?
I try other package include bin file to burn for ps2menu CD, also cannot boot up that program. Anyone can tell me how to install that app to my ps2-mc.
I have a question ps2menu is can be automatically boot up？ Do I need any mod chips?

installing ps2menu on your memory Card is the same as install HDloader on your memoryCard...whatever you did to get HDloader on your MC...do the same thing to ps2Menu....or go to this site...http://ps2exploit.tk/

I heard about PS2OS from maxconsole.. is this what it means?
can I boot HDloader w/o cd using it? (like xbox)
or I still need cd?

yeah...kinda like that....ps2Menu can boot up ELF file....mostly homebrew stuff like emu and things like that....you CAN boot it....what you do is create an exploit using ps2menu as your main boot up program...but be sure to include your hdloader file in your exploit too...after ps2menu boot up, just select hdloader elf and load it up....

The reason hdloaderlite boots up directly without letting you look at ps2mnu, is that in that version of ps2mnu that is packed with hdloaderlite there is an auto command to boot the hdloaderlite.elf file. You can keep hdloaderlite in the same file, but swap out the boot.elf (ps2mnu) for a standalone copy of it, and rename it to boot.elf. the auto load command will not be in there, and will let you explore your ps2, and boot any ohter .elf you have in there including hdloader. look in the bad data folder on your mc for your elfs.

Yes, the independence exploit requires you to have a psx cd. If you don't have one, go buy one, they are around $10~$15 brand new these days.

I was wondering if there's a way I can run PS2Menu/HDLoader without any disc in it..

so it's like.. power on your PS2 then PS2Menu will turn on instead of PS2 default browser :P

No...that's impossible....that's why its call an exploit....It need a psx game in order to TRIGGER the exploit....
