Any way to extract GT4 Photos from memory card? –

I was wondering if anyone had figuered out a way to extract photos from Gran Turismo 4 without using a usb thumb drive. I tried extracting the save with my Sharkport then using PS2 Save Builder to extract the image from the save but that didn't work. Any feedback appreciated.

you can setup execftp and get the file out that way.
i used nport loaded with inlink/ps2link then opened the save with PS2SaveBuilder and extracted the gallery file and used this
http://www.ps2savetools.com/download...Gallery_Viewer
to view/extract the images
edit: sorry i didnt read the post propperly, i dont know how to extract images from GT4 saves

theglassjaw, the program you link to is for GTA San Andreas images, SiNNER is asking for a program to extract GT4 pictures from his save.

Thanks for the replies. I'll give the GTA: SA photo extractor a try and see if it works with Gran Turismo 4. If not, I guess I'll just go out and buy a USB thumb drive... it'll come in handy for the memory card exploit I run as well

Good lord.
I created the GTA San Andreas Gallery Viewer!
I'm telling you now it will not work with GT4.
Y'know people used to listen to me when I talked about saves, running PS2SaveTools.com and all

I think a thumb drive is more simple...it can do more than just getting gt4 photos...data transfer...and so much more...

Yeah, you're right. It didn't work. There was no .dat file in the GT4 save. Any plans on a GT4 photo extractor in the near future
?
BTW, thanks for PS2 Save Builder... great little tool.
Edit: Nevermind on extracting the image from the save. I just found out that when an image is saved to the memory card it is compressed way too much to save space so when viewed on a PC it looks really bad. *Goes out to buy usb thumb drive*
