I was just trying out AR Max with cruzer mini to back up my saved games.
I was able to transfer the saves from the MC to the cruzer mini. But when I try to copy a save game from the cruzer mini back to the MC, it was ok the 1st try, but somehow the copied save becomes corrupted on the MC. On second try, the copying process was not successful, I encounter a data corrupted error halfway through the copying. And then when I go back to reading the cruzer mini, all the files are marked as corrupted (there is marking at the front of each file which I assume marking it as corrupted?) I have 50006 NTSC/J set, it's modded. I am just wondering if this is causing the problem. Anyone has any ideas? I appreciate any input. Thanks.

i dont use the cruzer mini but i do use my one flash drives, and they will corupt the files if the flash drive is not formated in FAT16, any thing other than that like FAT32 NFTS will corupt the saves, i havent had a problem so far.

    hope that helps

when u hook it up to windows (your pc) it shows up on My Computer as a drive. right click on it and select format, it should give u the option of FAT16 or FAT32. (make sure to backup your files!)

    simple.

Another problem, I just realised that the copied/moved files are incorrect in size.
Eg. my RTK9 save is 1510K but it become a 101k on my flash drive,
I just made a mistake and lost my Megaten save -_-...good thing that it was an early game save.

The difference in file size copied or moved over, does that means that the save file is corrupted as it is been moved or copied?

what i do is this. use code breaker disc where you can compress your saved game and then i move it to my usb thumb drive.

    throw in my codebreaker
    select my save
    compress it
send it to my thumb drive
    never have a problem again

i would think that pro action has a option to compress the files so try that and see what happends

I have codebreaker 9 but unfortunately it does not work on my system.

I will try your method and see what happens.
