Also, ive heard the exploit doest work on the newer slimmer PS2's (psTwo or w/e). I had heard that sony fixed this, but idk.

04-20-2005,03:49 PMI have HDA, and I am having problems as well....I need to know how to obtain the correct values for the config.dat file, Ipconfig? Router Settings? PS2? Where do I look?

04-20-2005,04:43 PMSorry for the double post, but I figured it out.
If anyone else is having the problem of going through your router, I went to the router config page and went to the connections tab. Then I used Mortal Kombat Deception to connect my PS2 to the internet, refreshed the connections tab, and the incoming IP address is the ps2 IP. The netmask is usally the same, and you can find it and the gateway IP by opening your command prompt and typing 'ipconfig'.
