strange problem classics no longer work
strange problem classics no longer work –
my ps2 converted games woked fine with place holder and multiman, than i tried to use ps2 classics manager and i loaded a game and it was sucessful, after that almost everygame i loaded gave me error and i could only play the one i loaded, i deleted everything and started over. now the same backups dont work. I just get a black screen and when i press on/off button on the console i boot to the xmb and controllor stops working.
official psn ps2 classics work fine but converted ones dont work?
any ideas guys?
Weird sitch, it might be a problem with loading the save data. Delete both the placeholder and the manager, also delete the contents of the folders used by the manager. Then install the Placeholder and try again. I'm not a fan of the manager, it's too much trouble.
If it still doesn't work try running reactpsn again to make sure the activations for the custom games are valid. I recommend packing each game into it's own .pkg so it has it's own icon on the xmb, it might end up taking alot of room depending on how many games you have but that's what the folders are for.

i have no idea whats going wrong? i have been modding my ps3 for 2 years but this problem has me stumped! i dont care about the classics anymore i just want to fix this!!
thanks for the reply anyways bro.
That is an odd issue. if you deleted and reinstalled everything. I would try re-installing your CFW next. Just to see if that perhaps resolves the issue.
The only issue i run into the Ps2 Classic manager is games do not like to be changed to the placeholder. I haven't messed with it much because i boot things from XMB rather then managers if it's possible
