Has anyone else tried the ptfx of the redone XMC private ed?
I was just playing online on TBOGT and this guy said he seen it?! He seen blue nitrous flames from the dukes coming out of every vehicle I was in (even as SuperSith)?!
We need to test this NOW! This could be huge, if indeed it is true, and that makes I wonder. What exactly did he do to the PTFX menu.
Ribo has the opportunity to look at the source today(him and him alone) so hopefully he can shed a lil light on this new development.

Actually speaking on PTFX I was in a game earlier and I had some crazy ass inferno thing going on around me, it was setting people on fire and blowing up cars

I don't understand the PTFX stuff but it was real cool. I think others could see it because I was acting completely normal and they were all following me about aiming at me, but not shooting, so they could get a good look.

Weird.

Some Ptfx will start fires all round you...stand in front of a car . It will catch fire and explode. Some work faster than others.
But tha guy was followin I round like crazy. He seen it?!

It would be pretty easy to test if you have a mic (or just send them a msg and ask if they can see it).

Maybe it only happens on TBoGT for some reason? I will add the menu and experiment a little, I can take both of my systems online but I only have the original IV disc.

Sorry you'll get it but the problem right now is its on a VMware image and I'm missing a vmk file or something and now I'm trying to figure out how to get it to run or explore the img for my source..y it has to be so flipping difficult I don't know but I'll get it..

just did a quick bit of research, this article seems to suggest that you could setup a new vm and then add the hdd of the old one so you're able to read its contents
