    I was just thinking that, that we have yet to see a real TEAM effort. I do not doubt that we will come to that point one day, but it would be great to see you guys rip this game apart and put it back together OGMT(Official GTA IV Mod Team) style. But for now everyone is sharing and supporting each other, and it is not non-team members places to ask for anything different. Thanks again for the reply HuN... and thanks again OGMT for all the hard work, you guys are great!!!

    I would be interested in a team mod. I've always wanted to create my own mission. Maybe we could collaborate on that. Some people work on a plot, while others code certain stages of the mission.

    Sounds good to me

    I can't be full time though .. Some one who has good organizational skills has to set it up but I'd be willing to contribute what I can

    ONE PROJECT TO UNITE THEM !! ...lol , that would be very cool indeed .

    i really like Tree-Socks proposal ( create mission ) everything learned so far could be put to use .
    also ,
    i agree with JDMAlex , it would be " part-time" involvement for quite everyone since we all have our own projects too .
    also ,
    tthousand offer to help is actually pointing out to something , we miss non-developer members to really make a working Team ,

    here what i have in mind ...

    OGMT(Official GTA IV Mod Team)

    - Official Team Thread Manager :
    we need someone with dedication & free-time to manage 1st post of Team thread , skills in image creation (like photoshop montage ) to create banners and theme pics would be great.

    - Beta-Testers
    we need a few skilled testers , basicly anyone with lots of free-time who knows how to properly install mods.

    - Writer ( mission story )
    if we take the mission creation path we should do it good , so we need someone with story telling skills , in my point of view , a good mission needs a good background and plot twists.

    this is merely a suggestion !
    since i am the newest team member , its not my call to start a team project or recruit anyone as a member ... but im happy that my comments/suggestions might be the very first steps toward a team project.

    That all sounds good , If 3 Evil and JD will code I could pitch in where ever I can.
    If one were to write an actual script(not in C++) for a mission...
    Think we have to remember there would be no cutscenes or dialog. We could have some text on screen(may be with script or gxt).
    I'll see what I can come up with(for story ideas) and I will also test.

    actually , having only text to unfold storyline is nothing new , in older GTA games storytelling was mostly in text form ... we only need to be creative enuff to make room for it .

    ex:
    make player passenger of a vehicle , let a created mission character drive to set location... this make room for text conversations or any other story wise informations to properly blend-in well.

    also i think text intro's and conclusions can be created ( star-wars intro generic style would be awsome , i dare you not to agree to that ! lol )

    edit:
    i think some cut-scene with text can somehow be created...

    ex:
    place a CAM to follow a created mission character while he do a set TASK and add storyline text while it happens.

    i wonder if the devs for SA GTA IV conversion have sco's mission scripts we could use .. just to pay some new stuff.

    EDITED 1ST POST !!

    - added Jamaican Gang-War
    - fixed boss health bug
    - reduced gang accuracy to 40 % ( less hard , but still a survival challenge )
    - made other minor code adjustements

    Note : after lots of thinking , i will leave boss headshot the way they are ... by definition , a headshot is meant to kill in 1 shot.

    i should post another script example tomorow ... have fun !
