    Ok does anyone know how to block the UI that drops down with the player's names and the game type when you press down? I know you can block the user input, but I'd like to be able to move.

    Thanks in advance to anyone that helps :]

    Isn't there a native that's like:

    Code:
    TERMINATE_ALL_INSTANCES_OF_THIS_SCRIPT("player_menuiv"); 
    
    Or:
    
    STOP_ALL_INSTANCES_OF_THIS_SCRIPT("player_menuiv");
    Something like one of those 2 I think, could be wrong though so don't quote me on it lol.

    I just assumed that player_menu was the list of players.

    I'm pretty sure its in one of the network scripts that are loaded when in network games.....I don't think its in a standalone sco. I can look more into it when i get home.

    player_menuiv is EvilB's model changer. And I've looked through freemode & network main and can't find it.

    i think he means the ui thats up in the top left corner which shows whos in the game when you you press down on the dpad.

    ive been wanting to know this too, if and when i figure it out i share the info cos this obscures the view in my menus aswell and is pretty annoying.

    I just saw it in someone's source somewhere and thought that's what it was.

    Evil I think I found away around it if you're using 3's menu lib. You'll have to edit the core button catch so it redraws the menu when you press down and change the alpha level of the curved window to 255 instead of 245. I haven't tested it yet but it should draw right over that window. I'll post back after I test it.

    I as well have suffered from that problem. The only fix I ever figured was to Disable Player Controls( I forget the native, will post when i am home).
    I have yet to test this next thought, but I believe the scripting for this is in one of the other cellphone.scos so you could test menus with each cell phone script disabled. Obviously it's not in the current ones we disable to get rid of the phone in single and multiplayer but there are two others.

    Well I tried the method above I posted earlier & tried using SET_PLAYER_CONTROL(id,false);[Blocked everything BUT the down button...] but neither of them worked.

    I've noticed that the player list will not show up when the phone is out, maybe its built into the phone's sco? or at least the phone sco disables it somewhere
