Do you think we can get a good set of neons added in for the cars? That's the only complaint I get from my friends when I give them cars to drive around. They want neons.

For some reason it still isn't working properly for me. I started with a fresh install, deleted all saves from the save data folder, let it install on the hdd, let it load, played the first mission so it would save, closed it, applied patch, opened, and bleh....but this time it was a slightly different failure...this time the screen darkened, like when data is being installed on the hdd and theres that black translucent filter over the background animation, only there was no progress bar or words. The music also changed abruptly as the screen darkened. Instead of the intro theme it was the music that plays when your looking at the game on the xmb. Lastly, when I quit game after watching the intro play endlessly, it just booted me back to the xmb...last time it did a force restart.
I could redownload the patch and try again with a fresh install but idk....and nobody else seems to be having any problems.
Are you booting gta from internal if so move it over to an external usb drive because gta dont install its game data from internal thats why you get the dimmed screen and low music playing.
plus there is otherways to boot it from internal drive but i cant really remember, there should be a PKG around somewhere that will set it up for internal then all thats needed is to move the files to that folder.
On this great trainer is there some option to display the xyz coordinates on screen to help in order to get coords to do some modding work?...
Just like EvilB said, boot it from a USB instead of from the HDD.
1. Back the game up to a USB stick. You'll need a 32GB USB, 16GB isn't big enough.
2. Put USB in your computer and change script and script_network in both DLC1 and DLC2 folders.
3. Download BDEMU2.PKG and install it to you PS3.
4. Put USB into PS3, open multiMAN and select GTA4 to boot from your USB. Then quit back to your XMB.
5. Scroll up to the disc icon and load the game.
Simple as that.
Also, make sure you have a disc in the PS3. Any disc, it doesn't matter. The PS3 just needs see that there's a disc in there to play. The BDEMU2 package basically fools your PS3 into thinking it's booting from the BD drive when it's actually bootingfrom the USB stick.
I have been running it off internal, for quicker load times...I'll give it a try on external though.
Just out of curiosity though is this something unique to 4.21 users? This mod used to run fine for me internally on 3.55, and the unmodded game loads fine internally on 4.21.
I've never gotten IV to work from internal while using the 1.06 update, worked fine with no update though.
