I've never been able to play GTA from the internal hdd with the 1.06 update, without the update it would play fine. It wasn't until just recently that I realized that it works from external with 1.06. If you're looking to save space you can strip two movies and the ps3 update folder, it ends up about 6.6gb total.

I added the disable pause.sco to the update.img with open iv but it doesn't show in game, did i do it wrong or isn't it possible this way?

unless modmanager knows its there it aint gonna work... in other terms you need to rename it to an existing mod_script.sco or compile a modmanager yourself that can look for disable_pause.sco

I would try renaming it to a mod in the developer tools sections(seems plausible?). Renaming to a gangwar,godmode, or teleport menu seems wack. But renaming does not always work. Tried renaming a 360 sco to T3CH trainer which ended up freezing upon selection. Might have to go at it a few times(so back it all up son!).

I find a lot of 360 sco's are compressed and don't work with IV or even TLAD I think.. u just need to decompress them with the scotool
