GTA4 Online Script Mods

Hey guys, new to the forums here.

I've been a bit of on/off research for the past 2 weeks ever since me and my bro in law saw this modded car online that had the underbody lights and would not blow up. We have been obsessed with trying to do this ourselves but after much research it looks like we are in a tough spot as we both have OFW 4.21 and the only way to downgrade would be through a hardware process. Fortunately, my bro in law does have an original fat ps3 that broke about 2 1/2 years ago (he says it's a YLOD) which he tossed to the side and just bought a new one. We have found several places through craigslist that claim they can fix this YLOD so we are honestly thinking about getting it fixed (50-60$).

Now I'm not sure if I have this correct but it seems (in order to do these online script mods) we would need a jailbroken ps3 on 3.55 to apply the scripts and replace files on and then we would need to data trasfer it over to one of our OFW ps3, right? Would this even be worth doing at this point?

Yes you are right , you need 2 thing the script of your choice (i might you have already that one lol) and the official GTA IV update . And do a ittle thing for make work onine (on 4.21 OFW)

Requirement:
3.55 Ps3
4.21 Ps3
GTA IV (You already know this 1

)
Script/Mods

Step 1. Download the script that you like.
Step 2. Install your pkg file, Go into a file manager Locate by following this >hdd0>game>BLUSorBLES(Depend your Region)>USDIR/take the update.img inside and Copy it in your Desktop. Go Back to Ps3 XMB.
Step 3. Download one of these 2 BLUS30127 or BLES00229: Added them down for not lose you

Step 4. Go back to your file manager and locate GTA IV(like as Step 2) hdd0>game>BLUSorBLES(Depend your Region)>USDIR/Take the update.img from your Desktop and insert it in USDIR folder (Will be asking you to replace hit [Yes])

Done , Test (if work's). Data Transfer

Original BLES00229 Retail Patch: http://b0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net/t...6-V0100-PE.pkg

it does not really explain anything about going online with this on ofw...

oh ok , I was wondering about this data transfer... I would really like to hack the hdd encryption so I could edit my files from a pc and just stay on an OFW for psn

I Think you Can't.

to get hack on ps3 you need a second Ps3 on 3.55 or Dongle. And both are not free...

So once I do the steps and data transfer I should be ok with going online with the OFW 4.21 ps3? Are there any risks of using these scripts online? I guess I should of asked that orginally, lol sorry. Honestly, I only play on free mode online and am only interested in the driving around in modded cars and possibly summoning objects at like the airport for some cool ramp jumps and stuff
