Seems like Ultimate data transfers are leading I to the dark side with Reactpsn ISH(which I am sure we can not do ere).
We shall see my friend ... we shall see.
On another topic, why is every Xbox 360 modder on Skype? Every 360 modder I contacted always ask if I am on Skype.
We Ps3 Modders do not do that kinda ISH. 3 no skype, Jd no skype, nativesith no SKYPE! See a pattern ere?
Can not we communicate without SKYPE?!
...jus sayin
.
Help I help you.
Also, would anyone here consider making a forum rules topic a good idea?
So all releases to be made in the "Mega Script Thread" and all questions to be asked in the "General Help Thread".
Also make people read it before posting a new thread saying the same thing as 3 other ones that they didn't see.
any one know how / have an example on how to use
extern void itos(int value, void *str, uint strsize);
found in strings.h
i cant seem to find any info on how to use it properly, I think it turns an int into a string for displaying that ints info
I have just installed CFW 3.55 on my second PS3, and I've managed to install my first package file for several mods on GTA IV. The problem is, I don't know how it all works which is really bugging me. Searching this forum is a nightmare. I cannot seem to find any sort of dedicated section for tutorials on modding as it all seems to be in one place.
I want to add mods on GTA TBoGT. I have downloaded this update(.)img file. Where does this go? I have searched most of the filesystem through MultiMAN, but I cannot find it anywhere. I am assuming you are going to replace one already on there. How do I go about adding mods? How do I add them to ModManager?
Secondly, I am a avid C++ programmer. I want to get into editing mods, and even creating them; where do I start? If I wanted to edit the source mode of a mod, how do I do this? Also, I've seen a lot of code around. How do I compile this code, would it be through a normal C++ compiler? Like GNU (Yes, I am a Linux person)? I have no idea how all these files and whatnot work together, and I really want to know! Do I need to work with some API/SDK or a special set of libraries?
Also, I've came across SCO files. What are these and where do they get placed? I'm assuming that it's not the same as installing a package file.
I also want to know what it is I need to do in order to take these online, and how can I spoof my MAC or IP address or what steps can I take to minimise the chances of getting banned from PSN? And what is this QA flag thing? The PS3 I have now was purchased from eBay. I am assuming it has CFW on it, as MultiMAN, and the Install Package File, etc options were visible. I think this QA flag thing is related to, again, reducing chances of being detected online?
I guess what I'm really asking is; I just want some resources or guidance into doing the above, and I'll find the rest out myself - but I need a place to start.
Thanks!
look in (path to the dark side) thread there is a very good [tut] in there good luck
Grand Theft Auto IV seems to not go any further than the loading screen that shows all the artwork of the game. Why is this? It seems to have happened ever since I installed Episodes From Liberty City. Any ideas?
I've only installed one PKG file, which was from this forum.
Edit:
I've got it to load through MultiMAN somehow, but now when the game loads, Niko just falls through the ground as there is no map. It's really odd.
