General Help

Hey guys so ive ended up creating my own hooks and ive got original gtaiv loading from xmb but updates dont work and eflc dont seem to wanna work.

GTAIV
create a folder called PS3_GTA4 and put in root of hdd0 and copy your games USRDIR into this.
EP0001-BLES00003_00-GTAIV XMB BOOT 4.XXCFW.pkg

EFLC
create a folder called PS3_EFLC and put in root of hdd0 and copy your games USRDIR into this.
EP0001-BLES00004_00-EFLC XMB BOOT 4.XXCFW.pkg

im gonna be testing out few otherways but dont think they will work if i can get an update to work on original gtaiv when booted from xmb then eflc can be fixed.

Hey guys, wasn't sure where to post this one so just gonna leave it here:

I've tried using EvilB's trainer instead of Evade's menu but it doesn't seem to open? I'm on Xbox and I've added a few mods into the modslots but nothing I do works? I've tried 3 discs and burned at 2.4x, 6x and 8x. None have worked.

Can anyone help me with this please? :)

Getting GTA IV running alone is a good start, but I would need the updates. I'm currently reading a lot of GTA IV modding material.

what format is menu text in EG ( (0.5,0.05,0.6,0.98,))

Tried askin fo help on the EFLC internal and still the same results :(.

Modslot tutorial for CFW ps3
There ave been many questions reguardin this issue.
First of all, One will need OPEN IV(to run one will also need a GTAIV.exe).
That program will open the script.img. Once open grab the sco for modslot placement.
Rename the mod.sco to modslot01.sco.
Rename mod02.sco to modslot02.sco etc.
Now, in Open IV one the opened script.img CLICK ADD + and find your modslot01.sco (on your desktop) ADD IT.
Rebuild the image. Replace that image in the backup of GTA IV.

For Complete
...Install Evil's latest package. Then grab the update.img
(in... Hdd0/game/BLUS30127/USRDIR/). delete that game data.
Place the update.img in the UPDATE folder and the IV of Complete is modded!

Hi i feel i shoud of posted this here and not evilb thread, excuse me, im new
Hello, in the first place, thank you very much Evilb and all the modders Scene!! I read the 18 pages of evilb ,but i dont get it: I tried to install Evilbconsole trainer on TBOGT, and IV.
Maybe someone would know why it doesnt work for me on GTA IV for my OFW, this is exactly what i´ve done:
I tried to follow nativesiths guide:
1 Transfer from OFW to CFW (GTA IV Game installed from cd in OFW, EFLC from PStore)
2 In CFW i installed the GTA IV official pkg 106update (previously saved a copy of the original untouched GTA IV update img BLES00229 USRDIR)
3. I replaced the original backed up GTA IV update img from step3 to BLES00229 USRDIR
4. I placed evilbs modded script img and script_network img inside (BLES00229_E2 USRDIR ,etc, common cdimages)
5. transfer from CFW to OFW, activate
Problem is, Works perfectly in TBOGT ,but i cant get it to work in IV ( The menu of modmanager doesnt show up on gta IV L3+R3, neither calling 663) I noticed theres also a BLES00887 folder that is TLAD (But i dont use TLAD so i didnt touch the files there)

Ok so i need help with this native, i haven't found a good force ped to flee native and is important that i have one. I have found these ones here but i can find any more info on what goes on "unknown0_100" Im very new to scripting so sorry if this a noob question =P
