I said I found it in the shoutbox, nothing more. Your the one who told your friends lol. Evade is actually a trustable and respectable guy. He never screws anyone over.
@ribonucleic:
GIVE_WEAPON_TO_CHAR(players[i].ped,WEAPON_ROCKET,AMMO_MAX,false);
one line, thats all it is. It was completely unintentional no matter what you will find some se7ensins member like zorg say.
Also the dev I gave it to, like zorg said, was Evade, who only released it a week or two ago after everyone else had it.
The other two people were Muskelprotze and Zorg who I told. At the time I didn't realize how much of an asshole zorg was, enough so to give it to Chrome and be sold for $50.
I take my blame for ever telling anyone like him, but theres still no reason for it to be released here (or anywhere). That is my point, and if you guys truely think freeze mods are an issue worth taking on, you could at least remove the single damn option!
I believe Emmanuel released his 4.0 as an SCO and did not include the freezegun in it, which is awesome! Thats how you get rid of it, pave over the old menus with new updates that dont include it.

no one person controls releases here, so inevitably freeze mods will slip through the screening process, i for one do not support the release or use of them and any user who comes here looking for support with the use of freeze mods will find their arse being kicked back out
anyways whats done is done, i'm willing to forgive and forget this whole incident providing you are more careful with what you release in future
if you find your code freezing fix it and forget about it, the potential number of freeze mods is too many to document so its better just to deal with whats already being flung around out there
we will see the day when someone thinks they can freeze us and instead they'll find themselves running useless code

Here's a standalone SCO for vehicle protection online:
http://www.mediafire.com/?071sdbng5ykws0z
I made this last night when I was about to burn a new CD, so I tested it and it works good.
So if you don't want/have/use XMC menu, you can have this running quietly in the background.
Credit for this goes to Muskelprotze and Zorg93.

Full credit for this goes to Muskelprotze as it came from his source 1st (I believe).
i told muskel about setting the id to not migrate, then gave him a simple source for network id protection that worked, he made it deactivate once you left a car and stuck it in the stash
