hi. in a few weeks i'm going to buy a 36 inch tv. I'm planning for a widescreen tv so i can watch my widescreen dvd's movies. But, i don't know how well can be played the ps2 games on a widescreen tv.
so, can anyone tell me how good is it to play on a widescreen tv?
i'm open to any observation or advice.

You can. Go into the configuration and change the TV aspect to 16:9
ok..i know i can change the settings, but all the games can be played widescreen?, or just auto-adjust to 4:3?
Not sure about that but I believe some games actually let you run widescreen.
Jak 2 have a widescreen mode. For all other games I just set my tv to widescreen. The image is squeesed vertically, but with videogames it isn't very disturbing.
Ive got a widscreen, but it has the option to adjust the picture ratio, so I can play in 4:3 albeit with 2 black bars on the side
Most games dont come with true widescreen (which is a shame), but for those that do its really good
4:3 TVs will be phased out soon anyways, widescreen digital is the future!
widescreen is awesome. for games i just set it back on normal.
