I found a couple but or they do nothing or they simply crash the game...

True that! But as I stated before in many cases you can fix that problem by finding the address that sets the "rendering area" and increase it by the same amout you increased the field of view... I did that for quite some games. However it can be pretty time-consuming, so I didn't bother to do that for the GTA/Bully games, since they already have an built-in widescreen mode. Of course it's only "vert-", which is normally pretty bad, but in those cases it's tolerable (at least to me), since the in-game camera isn't fixed and you can zoom out to compensate for the lost vertical fov.

I can confirm nemesis' values work with ntsc-j sons of liberty too. Although I wasn't able to boot from the elf in pcsx2 (it keeps crashing w/orig iso mounted) I was able to modify the iso with hxd and boot from that

Any tips for finding the values in other games' elfs?

Thank you very much for the God Hand patch, I love that game and always hated that it didn't have a widescreen mode. Now I need to find out why synce and I weren't successful with that game. I really did waste quite some time on that one.

Also thanks for the Haunting Ground / Demento patch, as written at the other forum I'm sure it will look awesome on a HDTV.
