I've added a Tutorial: How to FIND/REPLACE HEX ISO CODES with HxD Editor: -- you can find this in the first post of this thread. Please follow the 2-PART tutorial to get your HEX ISO CODES hacking! :)
Some time in the near future, I plan to clean up the first post of this thread to make it a bit neater. :)
I attempted to try the " Progressive output (DTV480P) patch" to GTA San Andreas (SLUS_209.46) and even though I had to also do the "FMV skip hack (SceMpegIsEnd() hack)"--or else it would not load, it skews the image to the far right of my screen. Perhaps there is a way to center the image somehow?
Hey all, I'm getting much better at hex codes and so I thought I'd post some here.
Credit goes to synce for his little reference chart of common AR values located at the PCSX2 widescreen patch forum (post #576 ).

It should be noted that the Crash Bandicoot:Wrath of Cortex version below is 1.0 with a CRC of 5188ABCA. Please ensure you have the right version before using this code.

Kudos to all. Keep up the great work everyone.
GTA SA modifies some GS registers directly, thats why the image skews to the far right of screen after applying 480p patch. MAGH value responsible for this, but i cant find where the game modifies it.

All this has gotten me wondering if it's possible to edit an elf to output in 720p. That would be pretty nice although I have no clue how to do it, I tried playing with the 480p info nemesis2000 was kind enough to enlighten us with but it's beyond my skill (or patience) at the moment. Once I'm done ripping my game collection (and that cover project) I plan to learn more about how to make codes so hopefully in a month or two I can pitch in. Thanks for the hard work everyone, we all appreciate it.
I don't think that PS2 console is capable to output 720p. You may fry the hardware.

Even the PS3/X360 are mainly using render resolutions far below 1080p... example: the Call of Duty games render at 1024x600

Call of Duty series on PS3 was a disappointment, too. It has 60fps framerate, but graphically it is so behind PC version.
Is there a way to convert .PNACH cheat files for PCSX2 to HEX Code?
I would like to burn widescreen version of all my games, so I could copy them to a HDD.
There is a tutorial, check pinned threads. Method works with some pnaches only.
