Yea it works with KH2FM checked it out and working fine and also good way to check if true RAW code :D

Ok figured I would share this can be booted off of mc0 and OPL must be IN mc0:/OPL/OPNPS2LD.ELF

I tried ps2rd (your version with added cheats from this thread) and it works great. I edited "ps2rd.conf" file for exit path and i will change the cheats.txt when i want to add new cheats.

I recommend ps2rd over codebreaker hdl patched now. Because it is free, open-source and homebrew. Plus we won't have legal issues distrubiting binaries, we won't have to encrypt or decrypt codes meaninglessly as it only takes RAW codes, it is not bloated like code breaker, it is easy to add new cheats etc. etc.

It works great with OPL but unfortunately like codebreaker it doesn't work with GSM. Who knows maybe one day ps2rd might be implemented to OPL (at least only cheat portion) and it might work alongside with GSM and we might use progressive mode together with 16:9 mode (heaven for HDTV users).

The above post is a great place to start as its attachment has most of the widescreen codes we posted here. Set your exit path in ps2rd.conf and you are good to go.

Of course it works great with OPL look a source of OPL and ps2rd you will notice one coder in common with that and of Course FMCB :D

Yea I have my config set to auto NTSC and boot to mc1 for opl :D

BTW I am not to sure about leg issue for some unknown reason couldn't find nothing but source myself but LocalH
had it so he uped it and very glad he did but wondering about why so many projects by someone is disappearing?

I should add that ps2rd claims to have a video mode patcher, however I don't know how it compares to GSM. From the docs:

Of course, I think the information is a little out of date compared to what is known nowadays (and doesn't seem to be as full-featured as GSM so I don't think we'll be doing any 1080i gaming like some do with GSM, but it may work well with 480p (at least as well as GSM).

Also meaning that, although I don't know the value, if one has a newer PS2 with BIOS-supported 576p, it would work here as well.

It is 0x53 for 576p mode in newer BIOSes.

Did anyone able to get 480p via ps2rd? I can't check now. The vmode value is 50 for 480p.

Yea I did and it will boot to game with cheat but can not figure how to adjust on screen and what sucks I have to first hook composite then set then component then boot

It works for 480p but DISPLAY1 and DISPLAY2 registers should be changed too and lack of this in ps2rd makes 480p mode useless. Try and see what i mean.

Solution: Changing DISPLAY1 and DISPLAY2 values according to 480p mode. The default values can be obtained from GSM source files (and ps2videomodes.txt). The memory addresses are known so a cheat code can be written. I will try this when i have time.

Well updated KH2 KH2FM and FF10 with corrections
The KH codes as far as I can tell do almost perfect 16:9 and finally found RAW for FF10 USA :D
