So none of these games need ps2rd to be used? Any settings that should be noted for anyone and Thanks for post
To add to that list:
All Guitar Hero games except for GH1 support widescreen (so remove GH1 from your list, it supports neither widescreen nor 480p). In fact, all of the full-band games (GH:WT and newer) only support widescreen (running them on a 4:3 display with the PS2 set to 4:3 still results in the game outputting anamorphic 16:9)
All Rock Band games support widescreen as an option in the game's menu.
All of the above games also support 480p as an option in the menu.
Sorry for sounding negative, but this list is useless since it's full of errors. From taking a quick look at it:
Champions: Return to Arms
Crash Nitro Kart
Hitman: Blood Money
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
PES 2012
Pirates - Legend of Black Kat
Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
Pro Evolution Soccer 3
Sly 2 Band of Thieves Pal
Virtua Fighter 4 Evo
Winning Eleven 10
None of those games has a built-in widescreen mode. Gran Turismo 2 is not even a PS2 game.
If you want a decent list, go with the wikipedia one and ignore the others. The wikipedia list like every wikipedia article is under constant improvement and everyone can contribute![]()
Wikipedia misses a lot of 16:9 games. So I usually check at hdgames.net. If someone update Wikipedia with data taken from hdgames, then we will get more or less complete list of 16:9 games.
If you know any games which the wikipedia list is missing, please submit them there (but make sure what you're submitting is correct!). You don't need to create an account and it doesn't take long.
The list at hdgames.net has many false submissions, so taking the info from there isn't a good idea.
