You just replied the same thing, please read my reply #759

If you are a newbie to this, read my tutorial found here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f292/ps2...uction-105353/

I am pretty sure you can find your answer there. But if not, please answer my question from reply #759. I can't help you if you don't tell me what I need to know.

Actually, what he's referring to was an issue in the GUI I remember it too. After choosing settings in GUI then choosing save it would freeze. I believe this was in 198 version. I seem to remember that it happens when you try to resave (change settings after an initial save) that caused the crash. The first save seemed to work. Only work around I remember was deleting the old cfg and starting GUI again (seemingly for the first time again).

Sorry, If this is confusing and I not 100% sure I am remembering this right. I hope to get some time with my PS2 this weekend.

I haven't played enough with 202 yet but I remember when I first set it up I was expecting this bug, but it didn't happen so I guess that one was fixed in there but he introduced others.

I've hex compared both gui version for r198 and r202 and they are identical. I have not had this issue. I've saved my CFG file many times on MASS USB. But I will keep an eye on this bug if I see others report this as well, so thanks for the info on this.

I wanted to learn if he is using the Network method to boot PS2PSXe, because GUI is not able to work with PS2Client and PS2Link. Yes, you can do the combo to go to the GUI, but you can't successfully make CFG saves or anything nor load more games from your network. It's not designed or never done to be compatible with Network/Host method.

So this is why I was inquiring his method to boot up the emulator. He didn't give me what I needed, so I could not provide anymore info about it. We'll just see when he replies to learn his method and etc. If people to supply enough information, it then makes it difficult to give them the right answer.

Maybe he is using a very old version of GUI, and he needs to make sure that when he installs mine, that it's a fresh install --the only thing he should keep is the mc folder and bios folder (as well as his game folder if he has them on MASS/USB) and the files inside. So his gamesaves don't get deleted. Also it would be important to learn which bios he is using? He should only use the one that ffgriever recommends: scph7502.bin -- that could also improve his situation.

Anther bundle. R33 and R160 included, also a missing Spanish translation. :) Unfortunately missing old readme with parrams explanations for CLI versions (I cannot find it on PS2PSXe thread :|).

r160 is old, what does your bundle provide? A little more info please.

I will include in the downloads section for this emulator. If you go to the first page of this topic you will see the link that takes you to that thread.

That reminds me, I never included in my bundle the languages. I will have to make a v2.

Berion, I see what you did, you gave all all the different revisions this emulator had. Thanks.

    UPDATE:

I've updated my version to: ps2psxe_jay-jay_bundle_v2 -- it now supports different languages (see translation folder).

Also if you use Network/HOST: download my version: PS2LINK_to_PS2Client_by_Jay-Jay

    @Jay-Jay
Yes, I saw this thread and this is why I decided to make my own bundle. In my package, there are two ancient non public releases: R33 (based on PCSX ;]) and R160. There are attached all public releases so I don't see anything wrong to add some few more progenitors. I have also bind all old releases into one (because all use the same files (in the same versions)), difference is only with R202 because this one have updated some old files (and in your bundle, you unnecessary add two modules which are no longer used in R202 + missing second Spanish translation). Details in bundle_info.txt.

I mean like, since the Interpreter core is disabled in newer revisions of the emulator because of a recent change or something, and maybe you can use it in older ones?

It's a bug only for the internal HDD, i reported it to ffgriever a long time ago,
i encountered my question and answer from ffgriever here, read post #17:

    http://psx-scene.com/forums/f292/ps2...55/index2.html (PS2PSXe Downloads and Updates)

You can't save more than once when you play a game or leave the emu, from what ffgriever said it's a problem related to
check the partition for when saving the config files, and from what i remember this bug is not fixed in r202.

Another bug also related to the internal HDD and uLE, is if you use for example a custom language for the uLE stored in
a partition of the internal HDD.
When uLE is launched and the file readed from internal HDD, if you launch the emulator it always freezes, i need place the
custom language for the uLE in a USB device and then it works fine.

I hope this two bugs are fixed in the r209 or if anybody can fix them in the future.

    Regards.
