Hi i run mk trilogy and the game runs very fast i need change the game
speed more slow
anyone can help?
Hello I am a new member here.
I absolutely love all of the work that has been done for the PS2/PS1emu. It is wonderful.
Now, I have been trying for the last few weeks to get Discworld and Discworld II:Mortality Bytes to play on my PS2... You see, my original discs are so scratched from wear and tear over the years since their releases. Now, normal backups of these games will not play on my PS2, but they will emulate on my PC properly which leads me to believe that this program is my solution perhaps.
Now I have partitioned a 32gb section of my HDD to use for the uLE program to launch PS2PSXe. I figure I will tell you guys what I am doing and the process in which I do it and maybe you can tell me if I am doing something wrong or if it just isn't working for me.... Here it goes...
I have on my HDD PS2 Partition:
+PS2PSXe (Folder with contents Ordered as Such...)
-bios (folder)
*SCPH1001.BIN
*scph7502.bin
-games (folder)
*Discworld.bin
-mc (empty folder)
-snap (empty folder)
(Following are Files Within the PS2PSXe Folder itself)
-"iomanx.irx"
-"PS2PSXe Launcher.elf"
-"PS2PSXe Launcher.rsh"
(Code Within "PS2PSXe Launcher.rsh"-
load iomanx.irx
run ps2psxe.elf -32bpp -ntsc -bios=bios/scph1001.bin -nofps -cdimage=games/Discworld.bin)
-"PS2PSXe Launcher PAL.elf"
-"PS2PSXe Launcher PAL.rsh"
-"ps2psxe.elf"
-"PS2LINK.ELF"
-"ps2client.exe"
-"pthreadGC2.dll"
Now here is what I do that keeps leading me to a black screen no matter what I do.
--I Load my uLE Disc in the PS2. (I use the version burned to a CD-r not a DVD.)
--It Loads and I goto the MSS label to find my PS2PSXe Folder (which is the only 1)
--I select the "PS2PSXe Launcher.elf" File and get a black screen with nothing. no writing, no anything. Not even an error log or something. Nothing seems to run at all.
However when I selected "PS2LINK.elf" one time to see if anything worked, that .elf ran just like I imagine it was supposed to even though I don't know what or how it is supposed to run it still ended with a 'Ready' at the end of the writing that showed up...
Look, I have gone through so much trouble to try to be able to play this on my PS2 again. I know i am sure I could just buy the game again, but then that would be pointless as I know some parts of my old PS2 arent doing too well anymore and I
don't want to create more ware and tear
I know this was a very long post but I very much want to learn how to do this and any advice will be very much appreciated. I am trying to teach all of this stuff to myself and it just gets kind of confusing sometimes but I have been learning a LOT lately and feel confident I can figure this out with a little bit of help.
Thanks!

Maybe this post #120 by dlanor will help you to run games from hdd

He helped me out in that post.
Hey man, just make the "PS2PSXe Launcher.rsh" like it (IF "+PS2PSXe" is your partition):
load iomanx.irx
mount pfs0:hdd:+PS2PSXe
run pfs0:/ps2psxe.elf -32bpp -ntsc -bios=pfs0:/bios/scph1001.bin -nofps -cdimage=pfs0:/games/Discworld.bin
Try it and tell me the result...
See ya!
any news on PS2PSXe?
Cant wait to see it load isos from either HDD or SMB like OPL. Id prefer SMB for network folders on my PC and the tons of ISOs I will have, but an interface like OPL would be a huge advantage.
Keep up the good work. =)
News??? Not much from FFgriever in this forum in a while![]()
