Is this possible without keyboard connected to ps2? Because setting arguments in Xlink- pc client for ps2link, doesn't seem to work.
One of the methods that work is to use ps2client.exe (the one for uLE), either 'manually' from a command line window, or from a normal batch file (a ".bat" script). Since the launch is initiated from a PC, there is no need for any keyboard on the PS2. Manual CLI entry can be useful in some experiments, but in the long term it is much more convenient to use batch scripts, with separate ones used for each PS1 game to be launched.
This also has the advantage of allowing script commands to be used for replacing the memory card files, so you can have different VMC files for each game, just as with the VMC branch of OPL. And considering the small size of PS1 VMCs, it is even more important to have individual VMCs for PS1 games than for PS2 games.
I'll see what I can do later about putting together some user-friendly batch collection, for use as a 'pseudo-GUI' for this emu preview elf.
But that also depends on my health, as the reason I haven't attended the site for a while is that I've been ill lately, having caught a bad cold after being drenched to the bone in one of the summer rains we've been having recently, leaving me coughing and sneezing for almost a week now... But hopefully I'll keep getting better now...
Best regards: dlanor

@dlanor
Thank you! Ps2client is exactly what i wanted, CLI is much better for me than those GUIs.
I figured out how to use it just by looking at usage info in /?
Thank you again, get well soon.![]()
It is so beautiful!!! Played a little bit of Grandia NTSC verison and it ran great.
One question not about the emu though. What program is need to view the screen shots in ubuntu or windows?? preferably ubuntu but I'll take a way to view them in windows as well.
