This emulator is designed to support PSX (PS1 Games) backups and play them on your PS2 via USB, Network, or Internal HDD.

Doing so will not be easy, but it is something I have seriously considered ever since I became a beta tester for this emulator, some years ago now. But since no other PS2 homebrew software uses launch arguments this way, I never got around to working on it. And it would have been a bit hard to motivate major additions to the program size, to add features that simply couldn't be used for anything useful (pre-PS2PSXe).

I am now going to consider the possibility and methods for implementing CLI methods in uLE, though I am not yet sure if this needs to include a realtime command-line entry mode, as in RadShell, or just a batch command processor, combined with a new form of launch shortcuts to allow for user-defined launch arguments.

The simplest method would probably be to implement only a batch file interpreter, and use the already existing launch shortcuts, with a small extension to allow for the launching of script files instead of elfs. And then the script files can contain all detailed launch arguments for the emulator. This way the new way of launching elfs with complex arguments only needs to be implemented for the script interpreter engine, without any major GUI additions needed, as the complex argument specification is then only done as part of the launch script for each PS1 game to be run by the emulator.

This would allow PS2PSXe usage very similar to how I have already used RadShell launch scripts for such game launching, though more streamlined by integration with uLE.

Some form or another of such CLI scripting will most likely be added to a future uLE version, but you should not expect any immediate results on this, as it is likely to take a while to make something powerful enough to be useful, and sufficiently well debugged for a release.

I want to put the ps1 ISO's in internal HDD, i use the HDD only for OPL games(and hdloader), and have a OPL partition for art/vmc's .

My question is, what is the best way to put the ps1 iso on internal HDD, it's better to create a partition for that use?

    thanks in advance

No. This release is not in a 'bootable disc' form.

It is an elf file that needs to be launched by CLI (Command Line Interface) methods, with specific arguments for the PS1 game ISO to be used, and this needs to be done with the elf residing in a folder structure matching the unpacked contents of the ZIP (though the storage medium may vary).

Hm,... I guessed he meant PS1-ISOs, but you might be right also.

@johnleyd: If you meant the PS1-Games:
    -Different CD-Image-Types are supported.
-No, they don't need to be patched (unless you create a bootable ESR-Disc).

You must learn how to start an ELF through PS2-Link with arguments, or with rad-shell.
