Ok, well they all seem to use a custom 512kb bios file so i'm guessing there pretty similar apart from the ram & cpu spec. Info about them and the games run can be found at http://www.system16.com/base.php#1 and MAWS - searchable information about resources in MAME™ .140

I don't think that I had mentioned this earlier, but if you need help in having testers/fixes to get your emulator working on all PS2s (Including SCPH-10000 and SCPH-15000 consoles), I'll gladly volunteer.

The fix usually involves changing your initialization code, so it's up to you to decide when you want to get that adjusted to work on even the SCPH-10000/SCPH-15000 consoles (If they aren't already supported).
    Unmodified SCPH-77006 with SM 3.6
SCPH-39006 with M-chip modchip, SCPH-10281 NA and refurb Seagate 80GB HDD
SCPH-10000 v1.00 with SCPH-10190 PCMCIA NA and SCPH-20400 HDD unit

Of course it is possible, but no such GUI exists at present.

However, even without any GUI it is possible to use CLI methods, either via 'radshell' or via 'ps2link' to run PS2PSXe with PS1 game image files loaded either from internal HDD of a fat PS2 or from PC HDDs over LAN. But since the protocol used for that is the PS2-specific HOST protocol, it can not be done with generic network HDDs (simple NAS units). You need a PC able to run PS2Client.exe for it to work properly.

I run some games from USB they works nice and fast, but...
Still, slow USB access speed of the PS2 should be less of a problem for PS1 games than it is for PS2 games, since PS1 games were designed to run only from CD, rather than DVD (which has higher transfer rates).

However, the point is moot until and unless ffgriever finds time to continue the PS2PSXe project.

    Best regards: dlanor

Working Hello World ntsc and pal .iso examples made for OPL uploading now, you'll need to replace the dummy bios files in the iso with ultraiso. The ps1 hello world .bin contained within the iso can be replaced wth any game using ultraiso too.
