Welcome. My first time on the forum. I do not know the language very well so I use the google translator.

At the outset I would like to say that I have jay-jay emulator, bios, and the version of the game everything as on your forum

During the game I have horizontal lines across the screen, which will significantly hinder the game. This is a problem with the graphics but do not know how to fix it. I think I've tried all the possible configurations of various versions of the emulator and emulator, and various versions of the game FF8. The problem still persists. At the very beginning there is a problem viewing the main menu. Error is like 2:41 in the video title in the Final Fantasy VIII ps2psxe (r188) test with sound on youtube. see the error but the game is already normal. unfortunately for me. I have horizontal lines all the time.

According to the description "FMVs have some half-second stutters, music glitched up at last half of opening FMV. Ingame works very nice and maintains a good amount fps. FPS drops more when a lot of characters are on screen or on the world map. Very playable. "everything should be ok

I will only add that I have a free mcboota 1.8 and not reworked console. I have a fat console.

Please help because I want to play my favorite game.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the language

    Hi paczek,
during my tests this weekend i also had those problems.
I had horizontal lines when i started a NTSC game on my PAL SCPH-77004 with the settings for a PAL game.

May be you also have a PAL PS2 and you try to do the same.
So, try out the 2 different settings in the "Video" options:
--For PAL games use "PAL" and "Nearest"
--For NTSC games use "NTSC" and "Bilinear"
--Never use "Auto PS2" or "Auto PSX"

Eather way, you might be able to get rid of the horizontal lines, but then you might get some vertical ones instead, try it out.

Let's say that the problem solved itself. But the horizontal lines in the game disappeared, but as I go to the menu, unfortunately there are all the time. Maybe someone knows how to completely get rid of these problems and graphics just now by the emulator.

But I have another serious problem with FF8. During the fight as soon as the two Gf Act to attack. It first hit the first and the second game crashes. It looks more or less like this that how to use the characters disappear GFA shows the name and the end game is normally hangs and nothing mogęzrobić even get out of the emulator. It does not matter the order or GF use the emulator settings.

    Please help
