A while ago I did manage to find the modchip's settings and options, it uses the ToxicOS. But unfortunately the PS1 Y-Fix setting is grayed out. And even if it was possible to change the settings, the modchip doesn't save it. The modchip does a really good job with everything it's supposed to do, just really sucks that it wont center the screen on NTSC PS1 games

If there's really no way around swapping disks, I'll start converting the games
Is there a way to change the Y-POS without changing the video mode? Because I've done a few tests with Zapper2000. I edited the .zap file to not change the video mode and it seems to work, I ran a test with ePSXe, and I can see that the frame rate is still running at 60fps and that the screen position shifted a bit down. But when i try running the same burnt image on the PS2 it didn't do jack with the screen position.
And another question, with Zapper2000, what exactly do the 2 numbers mean for the y-pos? (Sorry for the noob question)

another suggestion i will make is not use zapper2000/pal4u/whatever unless strictly necessary. first check megagames and see if you can find a game specific ppf patch with pal/ntsc selector as they usually fix ypos automatically
