Thanks for info. Managed to work all that out after I was informed and as you say you need to hold down buttons longer
Great piece of kit. I look forward to testing it with component cables on the new TV in the lounge. Not tried yet, but guessing PS2's default graphic settings along with composite cables on a 40 inch wide screen is going to be terrible...
Ive always played it on a 4:3 CRT. In my opinion CRT's are the still the best at "motion movememnt"? Not sure what the technical term is, I hope you will correct me, but what I mean is, the one thing a CRT still does best in my opinion is the ability to see individual clear frames, they don't "blend" together. They definately do this on LCD's (which I hate), not sure how good plasma is.
I read somewhere a while ago that a CRT's picture capabilities, even today, would still be at the higher end, rating above plasma and LCD. They just never extended the technology to the public (or continued progressing with it?) as it would cost alot and wouldn't really be viable to do to make a profit, as the everyday household wouldn't of bought them. I think also they would of been pretty big lol.
...death, would be his escape from madness.
